unfinished video

Match On Action- is a cut that connects two different views of the same action at the same moment in the movement. In this short movie the match on action rule is used when i (amarni) am shot opening the door from both sides of the room. This is really effective because the action is continued after i walked through the door.
shot/reverse shot - shot reverse shot is when the camera is going back and forth between two characters to make the audience think that they are having a conversation.
both shot reverse shot and 180 degree rule were not highlighted in this movie as you can see that there is not much talking

Above is a trailer movie of the film phone booth starring collin farrel. In this clip the editing technique that is mostly used is cutting. cutting creates meaning by increasing the pace of the movie thus creating tension, as the audience will feel that something urgent is happening. This clip also uses fades, this is done to signify to the audience that time has passed.
