In this clip the editing technique that is mostly used is cutting. cutting creates meaning by increasing the pace of the movie thus creating tension, as the audience will feel that something urgent is happening. This clip also uses fades, this is done to signify to the audience that time has passed.
Amarni, good choice of clip with many techniques within. Your analysis is very brief but correct, you have understood the different techniques you describe. You need to deepen your analysis...for example the constant cutting back to Colin Farrell lets the audience know that he is the main protagonist in the film...the parallel editing between the phone booth and the street connects the two...a good first attempt but write much more in future.
