Ability is represented through editing. Editing uses shot/reverse shot to make the able boy called David more superior. This evident when David is on the phone, as the shot/reverse shot is used to make David drive the shot, which makes him look dominant.
Ability is represented trough sound. Sound uses asynchronous sound to make David look superior. This is evident when the audience hear David's voice but when the shot changes to the boy sleeping we still hear David's voice. This is also used to make David seem superior.
Ability is represented through editing. Editing uses long takes to make David dominate the shot. This is used to show that David is superior. This is evident when David goes into the kitchen and he blames his brother Ben for eating all the weetabix.
Disability is represented through editing. Editing uses short takes to show inferiority towards David's disabled brother Ben. This is also evident in the kitchen scene when the boys are arguing about the cereal.
